Managing Director Global Treasury & Payments Adv

Overview

The Relationship Management roles are responsible for acquiring, orchestrating, and growing client and ecosystem relationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consulting on, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (e.g., Treasury management, Debt financing, Private Bank) to address client needs; orchestrating cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience; and building genuine relationships to differentiate SVB in the market. Core responsibilities include new business development, expanding existing relationships, and advising on and negotiating financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with commercial bank clients, delivering products like debt financing, treasury management, FX, investments, and broader SVB services.
  • Drive revenue growth through deepening and expanding relationships.
  • Oversee general management of the respective business portfolio.
  • Build strategic relationships with key ecosystem influencers; influence critical decisions aligning with company and client objectives.
  • Develop new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Lead and develop an account management team (~25 members).
  • Ensure team aligns with SVB's values and goals through collaboration and smart risk management.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years related experience, proven relationship development, general management experience, extensive network, business scaling ability, excellent communication, negotiation, and marketing skills, understanding of bank products, willingness to travel, and advanced degrees preferred.
