Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Travel & Expense function, ensuring compliant, efficient processing of travel, expenses, and card programs. You will shape policies, manage vendors, and drive performance with data-driven insights.

You will partner with finance, procurement, and IT to implement best practices, optimize the ERP ecosystem, and deliver training to end-users across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense or similar process-driven environments.
• Experience with AP, Travel & Expense management, card program administration, or finance operations.
• Experience with Workday Financials and travel booking/expense tools (Deem, Concur) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of travel, expense, and card programs with accurate, timely processing.
• Interface with travel partners and manage relationships with travel management partners.
• Develop and implement travel and expense policies and training materials for consistency.
• Monitor travel and expense data, KPIs, and drive improvements across programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to train end-users on ERP systems and optimize usage.
• Configure and update systems to audit rules and ensure policy compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in audit findings related to Travel & Business Expense systems and processes.
• Provide concierge-style support to senior management for expense auditing.
