Job summary

The Boulder Chamber seeks a Director for Transportation Connections to drive mobility policy, workforce mobility, and program delivery. You will lead strategic planning, manage grants and budgets, and build external partnerships to advance sustainable transportation goals.

You will oversee a team, collaborate with senior leadership, and report outcomes to funders, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule and a focus on data-driven impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability planning or related field; master’s preferred.
• 8–15 years in transportation demand management, urban/regional planning, or nonprofit management.
• Experience owning budgets, grants, contracts, and deliverables.
• Ability to manage staff and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic goals and implementation plans for BCTC.
• Own annual budget and monitor expenditures against grants.
• Manage grant lifecycle: proposals, awards, compliance, reporting.
• Lead external partnerships and fundraising initiatives.
• Represent BCTC to funders and partner organizations.
• Oversee CRM, SharePoint, and other tools for compliance and reporting.
• Promote transportation policy and mobility initiative visibility.
