Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego is seeking an Executive Director of Translational Medicine and Pediatric Planning to lead integrated pediatric development strategy across the portfolio.

This role connects disease biology, nonclinical findings, biomarkers, clinical pharmacology, and emerging data to decisions on indication, dose, proof of mechanism, and development progression, with emphasis on PSPs and PIPs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medicine or pharmacology; MD/DO preferred.
• 12+ years in clinical research or drug development.
• 7+ years in biotech/pharma with cross-functional leadership.
• Experience developing pediatric plans (PSPs, PIPs, waivers/deferrals).
• Experience in regulatory interactions with health authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-level pediatric development strategy from candidate transition through registration and lifecycle management.
• Develop and execute pediatric plans across indications and therapeutic areas (PSPs, PIPs, waivers, deferrals).
• Create integrated translational strategies linking biology, biomarkers, nonclinical pharmacology, and endpoints to decisions.
• Lead pediatric study design, endpoints, eligibility, feasibility, enrollment strategy, and site selection.
• Own regulatory deliverables and support meetings with FDA/EMA and other authorities.
