Job summary

ALLInBio, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Translational Medicine (Inflammation) to bridge discovery, preclinical work, and early clinical programs. You will own translational strategies, biomarker development, and clinical readiness, while leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, biomarker-focused decision making, and close collaboration with research, regulatory, and clinical operations to accelerate the pipeline.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in biotech/pharma translational medicine with leadership experience.
• Experience directing CROs for assays development and biomarker work.
• Strong background in immunology, inflammation, human disease biology, and translational biomarkers.
• Experience with IND/CTA-enabling activities and early-phase clinical development.
• Proven scientific publications or patents.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational medicine strategies across preclinical and early clinical programs, aligning mechanism, biomarkers, and clinical hypotheses.
• Define and drive biomarker strategies across discovery to clinical stages, including PD, predictive, and exploratory biomarkers.
• Integrate human biology and disease pathophysiology to inform target validation, indication selection, dose rationale, and development plans.
• Collaborate with research, clinical development, regulatory, and external partners to translate preclinical work to patients.
• Lead translational contributions to IND/CTA-enabling activities and clinical protocols.
• Oversee CROs and academic collaborators for translational studies and biomarker development.
• Interpret complex datasets to inform program decisions and strategy.
• Represent translational medicine on cross-functional teams and communicate rationale, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Contribute to publications, conferences, and IP in translational and biomarker efforts.
• Build scalable translational processes and contribute to company growth, culture, and operational excellence.
