Job summary

The Sulzberger Columbia Genome Center (CGC) at Columbia University in the City of New York seeks a director-level scientist to lead integration of genomics and clinical research in collaboration with the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC).

This position would work jointly with HICCC, CGC, and the Biomedical Informatics Resource to facilitate cellular and molecular analysis of clinical trial specimens via multi-modal genomics (including bulk, single-cell, and spatial profiling)

Qualifications

• PhD in biology, chemistry, genomics, systems biology, bioengineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience required

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing translational studies that leverage genomic analysis of clinical trial specimens.
• Coordinating the collection of genomic and clinical informatics data from clinical trials.
• Leading the integration of genomic and clinical datasets to develop new insights into patient responses in clinical trials.
