The New York Genome Center, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director/Associate Director/Director to lead interpretation and reporting of molecular diagnostic and screening tests, including clinical genome sequencing, carrier screening, and oncology assays such as MRD testing.

Qualificações

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field.
• ABMGG board Certification in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG) or Clinical Molecular Genetics is required.
• For Associate/Director levels, post-board-certification experience and higher years of relevant work are required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, annotate, and assess clinical significance of genetic variants detected by NGS-based assays.
• Interpret genome sequencing results and sign out clinical reports when credentialed.
• Develop and validate new NGS-based tests; support translational research.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to precision-medicine knowledge.
