Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Inc. seeks a Director of Reliability Engineering & Streetcar to provide strategic leadership for transit asset management and state of good repair initiatives in Dallas, TX.

The role oversees the Streetcar program, capital planning, and reliability improvements across vehicles and facilities. The position requires ownership of TAM/SGR programs, coordination with multiple departments and external stakeholders, and leadership of major system investments to enhance safety

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in transportation and vehicle systems.
• Experience supervising staff in operations and project management.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TAM and State of Good Repair (SGR) programs and asset management.
• Lead reliability engineering for buses, rails, streetcars, facilities and infrastructure.
• Manage capital planning, budgets, and lifecycle programs for assets.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external partners.
• Provide leadership and develop staff, safety culture and continuous improvement.
