Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services seeks a expert to lead tech scouting and diligence for new technologies. The role collaborates with R&D, Commercial and Corporate Development teams and external startups, incubators and accelerators to identify high-potential targets.

The candidate will build a network of SME collaborators and translate complex results into actionable recommendations. You will travel up to 10% to select conferences and partners, working in a hybrid model with on-site presence

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
• Experience leading technology scouting and due diligence.
• Ability to translate technical results into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead tech scouting due diligence for new technologies.
• Identify and evaluate target technologies and companies.
• Foster internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
• Build SME networks across multiple experts.
• Translate results into clear senior-level recommendations.
• Attend targeted research/industry conferences.
• Perform other duties as needed.
