Job summary

Summit seeks a Director, Procurement & Vendor Management to lead procurement strategy and vendor partnerships for technology investments across hardware, software, cloud, and services. You will negotiate favorable terms while balancing financial stewardship and risk, partnering with Finance and executive teams to drive growth.

You’ll establish governance, optimize spend, and mentor a procurement team to deliver measurable value and internal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience leading procurement and vendor management in technology, managed services, cloud, or enterprise IT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Summit's procurement and vendor management strategy.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Lead negotiations for hardware, software, cloud services, maintenance, and professional services.
• Partner with Finance, Delivery, Sales, and executives to support technology investments.
• Identify opportunities to optimize spend and improve contract terms.
• Oversee contract lifecycle including renewals and performance reviews.
• Establish procurement policies, standards, and governance.
• Provide leadership and coaching for the Procurement team.
