Avangrid Management Company, LLC. seeks a Senior Director of Tax Planning, Audits & Risk Mgmt to lead federal and state tax planning, risk management, and staff development. This role partners with corporate development on transactions and drives tax strategy across units.

The position requires a senior tax professional with deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS tax accounting and a track record in regulated energy markets. On-site locations in CT/MA etc. include strong growth paths.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master's in Taxation, Law, or CPA preferred.
• Experience in energy or highly regulated business preferred.

Lead federal and state tax planning initiatives, including support for Corporate Development and business initiated transactions and development and implementation of tax minimization strategies. Direct the tax staff assigned to these activities.**Key Responsibilities:** Representative transactions: * Merger and acquisition transactions or business dispositions.* New Renewables investments – both wind and solar.* New Networks projects - major bids and infrastructure projects.* Review of partnership agreements, amendments and wind-down.
