Job summary

Day & Zimmermann seeks a Director of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness to lead enterprise talent management initiatives, strengthen leadership capability, and improve workforce readiness and performance. The role partners with business leaders and HR to drive succession planning and organizational diagnostics to inform workforce development.

The position focuses on skills-based talent strategies, leadership development, and enterprise programs, reporting to the VP, People & Culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in HR/OD or related field; required.
Master’s degree in OD/HR or related field; preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, OD, or HR; required.
Experience consulting with leaders on succession planning and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Lead succession planning and talent review practices across the organization with leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines.
Guide leaders to evaluate talent, assess future potential, identify gaps, and develop actions for readiness.
Oversee organizational effectiveness engagements and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Steward performance management, career development, and related talent practices to support growth.
Provide organizational consultation during significant changes, assessing readiness and risks.
Use workforce data to identify trends and reinforce sustainable leadership capability.
