Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior leader to drive talent and organization development, aligning programs with global leadership strategies. You will oversee career frameworks, succession planning, culture change, and performance management, partnering with HR leaders and external partners to execute strategic people initiatives.

Responsibilities include rolling out HR systems, managing complex organizational changes, and reporting on program outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR/OD or related field or commensurate experience
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years with a Master’s degree or 10+ years with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Talent and Organization Development or related field
  • Knowledge of personality or team-building assessments
  • Executive coaching experience or capability
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Sitting work and repetitive hand-finger actions
  • Work in low to moderate noise levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead talent and organization development programs, including career frameworks, performance management, succession planning, organizational design, and culture change
  • Connect talent initiatives to Ford’s global leadership development strategy
  • Partner with HR leaders and external partners to align people strategy with business direction
  • Shape strategy and lead planning and rollout of HR and talent management systems and processes
  • Address complex talent and organizational development challenges, including culture transformation, succession planning, and restructuring
  • Present progress and recommendations across the company
  • Work with vendors, auditors, and consultants to implement solutions
  • Create standards, processes, and reporting tools for talent programs
  • Track program performance and optimize initiatives over time
  • Advise HR and business leaders on succession planning, performance management, engagement, retention, inclusion, and talent development
  • Champion HR technology and talent management systems with IT and vendors
  • Maintain legally compliant, clearly communicated talent program guidelines
  • Safeguard confidential talent and organizational development information
  • Manage hiring, performance, discipline, pay, and team development decisions for the team

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience
  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience preferably in Talent and Organization Development or a related field
  • Knowledge or use of personality and/or team building assessments
  • Executive coaching experience or capability
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting of no more than 10 pounds
  • Ability to work primarily in a seated position and perform repetitive hand-finger actions
  • Ability to work in low to moderate noise levels
