Aspirus Health is seeking a Director of System Clinical Informatics to bridge clinical operations and technology, optimize the EHR, and lead digital transformation across our Wisconsin health system. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, informatics, IT, or related field.
• Master’s degree in information systems, informatics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in healthcare, health IT or informatics.
• At least 3 years in leadership within an integrated healthcare system.
• Epic certification in clinical modules strongly desired.
• ANCC certification in healthcare informatics highly desired.
• Extensive experience with Epic core systems.
• Proven leadership of high‑performing teams.

In this strategic leadership position, you will serve as the key bridge between clinical operations and technology, partnering with executive, clinical, and IT leaders to optimize the electronic health record (EHR), improve workflows, and drive the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance patient care.

What You'll Do

• Lead system-wide clinical informatics strategy aligned with organizational goals and care delivery priorities.
• Drive EHR optimization through governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and enhance clinical workflows that improve efficiency, reduce care variation, and support growth.
• Champion change management and technology adoption across diverse clinical settings.
• Leverage data, analytics, and user insights to maximize the value of technology investments.
• Partner with clinical leaders to improve documentation, utilization, quality, safety, and operational outcomes.
• Build and develop a high-performing informatics team through coaching, professional development, and a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Proven healthcare informatics leadership experience with expertise in EHR optimization and clinical transformation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, quality, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across clinical, operational, and technology teams.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, workflow redesign, and improving caregiver and patient experiences.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise change initiatives and high-performing teams.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics or information technology, or related field from accredited school required. Master's degree in information systems, Informatics, business is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Healthcare, Healthcare IT or Informatics.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a progressive informatics, education, IT or project management leadership position within an integrated healthcare system.
• Certifications: Epic certification in clinical modules and ANCC certification in healthcare informatics is highly desired.
• Extensive experience working with Epic core systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams.
