Job summary

The role ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong financial oversight while fostering staff growth and high-quality patient care. Reporting to hospital leadership, you will drive policy development, strategic planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams

Qualifications

• Advanced perioperative nursing knowledge and leadership experience within surgical services.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to surgical services, aligning with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement policies to maintain standards in clinical and operational areas.
• Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation for surgery.
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Monitor care delivery to ensure outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Participate in hospital leadership meetings and respond to emergencies.
