Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations in North Carolina to lead daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality and customer service standards across the site.

You will hire, develop and evaluate staff, coordinate with managers, and report on performance and improvements. A strong background in 3PL, Lean Six Sigma and ISO standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 7 years of management experience in a supply chain or distribution environment.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Proven employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality management system procedures and processes are implemented and maintained.
• Oversee productivity and safety standards in accordance with company needs and customer requirements.
• Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures.
• Prepare reports on performance and potential improvements for operations.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively; take corrective action as necessary.
• Provide direction, development and leadership for the managers and supervisors.
• Establish and meet site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality and customer service.
