Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations to oversee daily operations, quality, safety, and staff performance at a major facility in North Carolina.

You will drive process improvements, reporting, and leadership across multiple departments to meet site objectives and customer requirements. The role requires senior-level management experience in supply chain, with a strong focus on Lean/Six Sigma, 3PL partnerships, and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in a supply chain or distribution environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment.
• 3 years’ leadership experience in 3PL.
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement experience.
• AS9100 or ISO environment experience.
• Proven employee engagement and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality management system procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Oversee productivity and safety standards per company and customer needs.
• Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures.
• Prepare reports on performance and improvements for operations.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff; take timely corrective action.
• Provide direction and leadership for managers and supervisors.
• Meet site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Submit key quality, financial and safety reports accurately and timely.
• Plan and coordinate site activities with managers to meet goals cost-effectively.
