Job Overview

Director Supply Chain 1 – Global Supply Chain – Demand Planning & Delivery Management organization. Location: El Segundo, CA; Palmdale, CA; Rancho Bernardo, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Melbourne, FL; Clearfield, UT. Reports to the Director of Common Products. This leadership position oversees a geographically dispersed team of ~170 employees across Demand Planning, Delivery Management, and Engineering Property. The role requires a Secret clearance at start; Top Secret clearance with Special Program Accesses can be obtained in a timely manner. The position requires 25% travel and relocation assistance may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Key leadership interface for GSC Senior Leaders, GSC Program Managers, and other program and functional stakeholders.
• Provide functional leadership for an organization executed in a highly matrixed environment.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and business optimization efforts.
• Drive affordability initiatives and opportunities for cross‑sector collaboration.
• Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
• Assist in the development and mentorship of all team members.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of experience in supply‑chain management, program/project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, demand planning, or business management; OR Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in the same fields.
• Business systems experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams.
• Active U.S. Government Secret level clearance required to apply and to start the role; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and Special Program Accesses within a reasonable time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Aerospace & Defense experience; execution in various program lifecycles.
• Solid understanding of supply‑chain metrics and key performance indicators.
• Robust business systems implementation and transition experience.
• Ability to address uncertainty with predictive data analytics.

Compensation & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,700.00 – $278,200.00. Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and Long‑Term Incentives.
