Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior supply chain leader in Lake Charles, LA to drive cross-functional coordination and manage program material strategies. You will lead GSC activities through the full BAP, serve as a GSCPM focal point, and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, business management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team and/or direct people management.
  • Experience with general procurement and subcontract execution workflows.
  • Experience with material receipt forecasting.
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met; develop and execute mitigation plans.
  • Develop material strategies and lead GSC activities through all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
  • Serve as a GSCPM focal point with RAAs to the Operating Unit, in partnership with OU GSC PM.
  • Develop and execute GSC strategies focusing on affordability, efficiency, safety, and first-time quality.
  • Ensure accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data for EVM baseline.
  • Lead proposal management to ensure timely, compliant, high-quality submittals.
  • Manage material financials in support of program portfolio goals.
  • Brief senior management on status, risks, and issues affecting cost/schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met; develop and execute integrated mitigation and opportunity plans to address organizational and programmatic risks and opportunities.

  • Serve as a GSCPM focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit, in partnership with the OU GSC PM.
  • Develop and execute GSC strategies in support of program build and sustainment, with a focus on affordability, operational efficiency, safety, and first-time quality.
  • Ensure accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline.
  • Lead proposal management activities to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality submittals.
  • Manage material financials in support of program portfolio financial and performance goals.
  • Brief senior management on status, risks, and issues affecting cost, schedule, and supply chain performance.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, proactiveness, strong organization, attention to detail, and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, in supply chain, business management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team and/or direct people management
  • Experience with general procurement and subcontract execution workflows
  • Experience with manufacturing and purchasing workflows.
  • Experience with material receipt forecasting
  • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a technical discipline
  • Experience in supply chain management on a major defense program, and/or management of development, production, and maintenance/repair operations projects
  • Direct experience interfacing with senior leadership.
  • SAP/S4/ MES/IMRO experience
  • Experience with FAR/ DFAR
  • Understanding of procurement requirements for USG customers
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Experience executing and managing service agreements with major suppliers
  • Experience with proposal management in a program or capture

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
