Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Manager Supply Chain Programs 3 in the GSC Program Management organization. This leadership position is located onsite in San Diego, El Segundo or Palmdale, California and is 100% onsite with no telework opportunity.

The Manager reports to the Global Supply Chain Program Management Director. The role includes serving as the primary point of contact under the Responsibility Accountability and Action (RAA) framework to the Business Unit Business Management Director. Key duties involve developing and executing GSC strategies to support the program, focusing on affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first‑time quality targets. The Manager leads cross‑disciplinary supply chain activities and represents the program in executive updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of direct reports, carrying functional management and day‑to‑day guidance
  • Establish and maintain the strategic vision for financial management—labor and material—of the GSC organization
  • Provide EV/CAM guidance to GSC Operating Unit (OU) Program Managers
  • Handle OU and BU non‑labor sales/forecasting
  • Manage processes and activities within supply‑chain operations to support the annual operating plan across the sector
  • Support GSC and business‑management leadership in developing a rigorous annual operating‑plan process, including training and mentoring of GSC support staff
  • Help develop monthly forecasts for material sales in coordination with Operating Unit GSC Program Managers
  • Conduct variance analysis of submitted forecasts
  • Support GSCPM staff through analysis, oversight and status of material and IWO delivery schedules, suppliers’ commitments, risks and opportunities
  • Oversee key subcontractor and IWO partner cost performance
  • Prepare for and support monthly Pre‑Close reviews, EAC reviews, monthly material sales reviews, and GSC portfolio reviews
  • Support data collection and submission as needed
  • Proficiency in analyzing large amounts of data, excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to interact with all organization levels

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 5 years of experience in business management, project management, program management, global supply chain, finance and/or related functions; or a Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience in those fields
  • Experience with subcontractor financial performance
  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Program cost and/or schedule experience, CAM experience
  • Current active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance and Program Special Access as required by the Company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working as part of the Global Supply team to achieve global supply‑chain, program, and sector objectives while maintaining compliance throughout the acquisition process
  • Experience developing a non‑labor sales financial forecast and integrating it into a larger program financial plan
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prepare and present executive‑level presentations
  • Proven track record building and retaining a robust team; respectful leadership, inclusive team culture, empowerment, empathy and listening
  • Experience with SAP requirements, specifically Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD)
  • Current active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Current Program Access

Primary Level Salary Range $175,400.00 - $263,200.00. The range is a general guideline; compensation is based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives (for Vice President or Director positions).
