Ladders is seeking a Director of Supplier Quality to lead our supplier quality strategy within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. You will oversee audit readiness, supplier qualification, performance management, and corrective action to protect the integrity of critical parts and components.

This role partners closely with Procurement and Engineering to reduce risk, strengthen capability, and improve quality outcomes across the supplier base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a related field.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading supplier audits and qualification activities.
• Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, APQP, SPC, and MSA.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems.

• Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead a team of Senior Managers and Supplier Quality Engineers focused on audits and performance monitoring.
• Establish and maintain supplier qualification and approval processes.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances.
• Manage supplier scorecards and key performance indicators to improve quality performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering to address supply chain risks.
• Support supplier development initiatives to strengthen capability and capacity.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director Supplier Quality to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead supplier quality strategy across a complex, highly regulated manufacturing environment. The Director will oversee audit readiness, supplier qualification, performance management, and corrective action efforts to help ensure the integrity of critical parts and components. This position will partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, and supplier organizations to reduce risk, strengthen capability, and improve quality outcomes across the supply base.

Location: Cocoa Beach, FL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $203,165 – $284,430 annually
