Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College – Sellersburg is seeking a Director of Ivy Cares to lead wraparound services that address non-academic barriers to student success. This role designs and assesses operations, builds campus and community partnerships, and promotes basic-needs security as part of student persistence and completion.

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $70,000, commensurate with education and experience. The position oversees program development, assessment, and collaboration with multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in higher education, social services, or nonprofit management.
• Experience developing and managing programs that support students and communities.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and use data to inform decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to attend meetings after hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Ivy Cares Office programs, services, and operations.
• Develop partnerships with campus and community resources to support student success.
• Coordinate basic-needs initiatives addressing poverty, housing, food insecurity, and mental health.
• Lead campus and community engagement to expand resource networks for Ivy Tech students.
• Oversee budget, policies, and assessment of Ivy Cares programs.
