Job summary

Roc Nation Distribution is seeking a Director of Streaming & Playlist Strategy in New York, in-office five days a week. You will own playlist pitching, DSP relationship management, and streaming marketing campaigns to drive discovery and growth for the roster.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in music streaming/digital marketing, strong analytics, and the ability to collaborate across departments to maximize opportunities for Roc Nation Distribution’s artists and repertoire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in music streaming, digital marketing, consumer promotion, or commercial music sales.
• Experience crafting and executing streaming campaigns with DSP pitch proposals.
• Proficiency with partner dashboards (Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, YouTube Analytics).
• Tech-savvy with pulse on current and emerging trends across streaming landscapes.
• Ability to coordinate across departments to advocate for Roc Nation Distribution’s roster.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with DSP programmers to drive storytelling and pitch strategy.
• Develop go-to-market streaming plans with labels and commercial teams, delivering assets on time.
• Translate data insights into strategic adjustments and weekly performance recaps.
• Analyze streaming demographics and audience behavior to inform targets and projections.
• Identify opportunities for promotions, events, and premium placements within partner ecosystems.
• Collaborate with marketing and social teams to amplify artist partnerships through platform tools.
