Job description

At Broadridge, we've built a culture where the highest goal is to empower others to accomplish more. If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team. Broadridge is a global FinTech leader that plays a critical role at the center of financial services, providing the technology and global infrastructure that power trading, investing, corporate governance, and investor communications. Our platforms support more than $18 trillion in daily fixed income and equity trading volume, 8 billion regulatory and customer communications annually, and trade processing for 120 million retail accounts. The Growth and Strategy team, reporting to the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, is charged with identifying and driving new avenues of growth for the firm. As Director, Growth and Strategy, you will contribute to this work, from AI and tokenization to new growth platforms and portfolio and investment priorities, by combining rigorous strategic analysis with hands‑on execution and close partnership with business leaders across Broadridge. This high‑visibility role combines strategic problem solving, independent workstream leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will translate market intelligence, competitive insights, and client needs into actionable recommendations and compelling business cases. As part of a small enterprise team, you will lead defined workstreams and projects, partnering with business and functional colleagues to advance assigned growth initiatives, build consensus around recommendations, and drive execution and transition of new platforms to business owners. The role offers direct exposure to executives and senior business leaders, with opportunities to deepen your strategic expertise and expand your responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead defined strategic workstreams that contribute to enterprise and business-level growth plans by synthesizing market intelligence, competitive dynamics, client needs, and emerging industry trends.
  • Identify and assess opportunities to expand Broadridge's offerings, market presence, and client relationships, including new growth platforms, technologies, and business models.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations for senior leaders to inform resource allocation, investment priorities, and portfolio decisions.
  • Apply hypothesis‑driven problem solving and established strategy approaches to challenge assumptions, bringing new perspectives to complex problems, and evaluating alternatives on where to compete and how to win.
  • Partner with business and functional teams to develop actionable plans for assigned initiatives, including milestones, responsibilities, and measures of success.
  • Lead execution of assigned workstreams within strategic growth initiatives, coordinating contributors, resolving workstream issues, and escalating broader risks and decisions to project sponsors.
  • Develop and track workstream‑level performance measures in partnership with initiative owners, assess progress, and recommend course corrections.
  • Develop and present clear, data‑driven materials for senior leadership, communicating findings, recommendations, strategic trade‑offs, risks, and progress.
  • Contribute to assessments of the strategic rationale for potential partnerships, investments, and acquisitions through opportunity analysis, business case development, and strategic due diligence.
  • Explain complex findings and sensitive strategic trade‑offs clearly, working to build consensus with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues by sharing analytical approaches, contributing improvements to team tools, and providing project‑based coaching.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience at a leading strategy consulting firm and/or in corporate strategy at a leading financial services firm.
  • Direct corporate or business strategy experience is required.
  • You have worked on substantive strategic questions such as where to compete, how to win, which growth opportunities to prioritize, and how to allocate resources across businesses or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead defined strategy workstreams, from problem framing and hypothesis development through analysis, recommendations, and executive‑ready communication.
  • Strong conceptual and practical expertise in strategic analysis, including market sizing, competitive assessment, financial modeling, and evaluation of strategic alternatives and trade‑offs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment by synthesizing multiple sources of information and translating complex analysis into clear strategic choices, compelling business cases, and actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of strategy best practices and how strategic priorities connect with finance, product, technology, and operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing executive‑ready presentations, explaining complex information, and building consensus through fact‑based discussion.
  • Ability to build credibility with business stakeholders and collaborate across related teams to translate recommendations into execution priorities.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recognize when broader risks or decisions require escalation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial services or FinTech sector expertise.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and business models, such as AI, tokenization, or digital financial infrastructure.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise growth strategy, portfolio strategy, or strategic investment assessments.
