Director, Strategy & Finance Operations - San Diego, CA - Hybrid

Are you a strategic problem solver who can move seamlessly from executive-level recommendations to hands-on execution? This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, mission-driven services organization as a key thought partner to senior Finance and Operations leadership, helping shape scalable services and lead high-priority initiatives across a complex organization.

Who you are:

• 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, transformation, Chief of Staff, shared services, or a related role, with experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct stakeholder discovery, develop practical recommendations, and execute against them in a complex matrix environment.
• Quantitatively fluent and comfortable interpreting financial and operational information, working with Excel and budgets, and discussing KPIs with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree required

What you’ll do:

• Serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted proxy for the VP of Finance and Operations, building relationships and driving alignment across brand and enterprise stakeholders.
• Lead discovery and structured problem solving around complex business issues, translating qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develop executive-ready kickoff decks, leadership updates, business cases, decision materials, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Lead high-priority initiatives and help design scalable service models, governance, and operating frameworks across areas including payroll, benefits, insurance, and procurement.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected total compensation for this role is $180,000-$210,000. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
