UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, seeks an experienced strategic planning professional to support enterprise-wide initiatives related to clinical services, facilities, and operations. You will analyze market conditions, financial data, and payer mix to inform decisions and help shape growth opportunities across the health system.

Pay range: $104,045 - $169,075 / year

Job Descripton
To support the planning office efforts in development and documentation of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives related to clinical services, facilities, and operations and participates in the implementation of recommended business strategies and tactics to support enterprise-wide goals and objectives. To provide UAB Health System entities with information, analyses, and recommendations upon which strategic decisions will be made. Responsible for describing market conditions and UAB Health System’s market position, as well as analyzing financial information to assist in strategic decision making. Possesses knowledge of numerous data resources and databases required for strategic planning.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Health or Business Administration required. Minimum of seven years relevant planning or business development experience required. Experience in health care preferred.
