Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director in Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing. This role focuses on leading complex client engagements for private equity-backed portfolio companies, developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, and driving tangible EBITDA improvements. Open to all U.S.

locations and built for a senior practitioner with deep sourcing experience. The position requires 10–15+ years of combined consulting/industry experience, strong analytics, and demonstrated success

Qualifications

Strong written, oral, and analytical skills.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Structured project management capabilities across time, team and work-streams.
Initiative, drive and critical thinking to deliver impact.
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements with Private Equity teams.
Understand client procurement organization and strategic sourcing capabilities.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives.
Lead supplier identification, negotiations and vendor relations.
Drive procurement and sourcing initiatives with implementation plans and analysis.
