Job summary

The PGA of America seeks a Director of Special Events & Strategic Sourcing in Frisco, TX to lead long-range procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships for Championships and Association initiatives.

You will oversee multi-million dollar event budgets, drive best practices, and coordinate executive events, board meetings, and VIP experiences with hotels, venues, and culinary partners.

Qualifications

• Lead multi-year strategic sourcing for hotel rooms, venues, and catering.
• Negotiate master service agreements and venue contracts.
• Develop and manage multi-million dollar event budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Association events including Board meetings and the Annual Meeting.
• Oversee hotel contracts, venue selection, catering, and AV production.
• Manage risk, contingency planning, and vendor performance metrics.
