Job summary

Bright in Dallas is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing strategy for non-asset purchases and to support operational excellence across all locations. You will oversee supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and cost of goods management for supplies, consumables, and services that keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will build long-term vendor partnerships, establish procurement policies, negotiate favorable terms, and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in event rentals, hospitality, furniture, manufacturing, retail, or related industries is preferred.
• Proven success negotiating large supplier contracts across multiple locations.
• Strategic sourcing and contract negotiation expertise.
• Strong financial acumen and cost management capabilities.
• Vendor relationship management and supplier development.
• Data-driven decision making and analytical problem solving.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a procurement plan aligned with company growth and service standards.
• Lead sourcing for maintenance supplies, consumables, packaging, uniforms, and other materials.
• Build long-term vendor partnerships to support quality, reliability, and cost control.
• Establish procurement policies, standards, and best practices across locations.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Manage supplier performance including quality, delivery reliability, and responsiveness.
• Maintain strategic partnerships with key manufacturers and distributors in the event and hospitality supply chain.
• Monitor supplier risks and develop contingency sourcing strategies.
• Lead negotiations for multi-location purchasing contracts.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost of goods while maintaining quality.
• Partner with finance and operations to manage procurement budgets and forecast needs.
• Track and report procurement KPIs including cost savings and vendor performance.
