JCW Group is seeking a Senior Manager or Director of Strategic Sourcing for a growing medical device manufacturer in Northern New Jersey. You will own strategic sourcing end-to-end, matching new product designs to suppliers and driving cost savings across the supply base.

You’ll also put supply agreements in place with key suppliers and lead a senior procurement specialist while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance.

Competenze

• 10+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, direct materials.
• Medical device, pharma, or regulated manufacturing background.
• Proven track record of identifying and delivering cost savings.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier performance.

JCW is looking to hire either a Senior Manager or a Director of Strategic Sourcing for a growing medical device manufacturer in Northern New Jersey. This is a chance to set the sourcing strategy for the company and build it out.

You’ll own strategic sourcing end to end. That means matching new product designs to the right suppliers and driving cost savings across the supply base. You’ll also put supply agreements in place with key suppliers. You’ll lead a senior procurement specialist and work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain, mainly on direct materials
• Medical device, pharma or similarly regulated manufacturing background is required
• A track record of cost savings you identified and drove to closure
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier performance

The onsite Monday through Thursday (remote Fridays) in New Jersey, with some domestic and international supplier travel.
