Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking a Director, Materials Planning & Logistics (MP&L) for the Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE) segment. You will lead materials planning, inventory management, logistics, and the SIOP strategy to improve supply continuity, planning discipline, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business, Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years leading materials planning, SIOP, and logistics in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership managing salaried and hourly teams.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Advanced analytical, presentation, and data management capabilities.
• APICS/CPIM or similar certification preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build the process for hiring, developing, and certifying a world-class planning team for HDE.
• Roadmap IT to drive supply chain digital transformation, visibility and accuracy.
• Develop the Supply Planning team to optimize inventory and material flow across the HDE network.
• Lead centralized planning and supplier fulfillment initiatives for accountability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with CI teams to improve material flow and factory performance.
• Establish SAP master data governance standards to support planning.
• Synchronize short-term supply and demand across sites with production schedules.
