Job summary

Blue Meridian Partners is seeking a Managing Director/Senior Director, Portfolio Management and Operations to lead strategy, operations, and field collaboration across a national philanthropy portfolio. NYC-based, exempt role reporting to the CIIO with a focus on scalable impact for youth and families.

The role requires 15+ years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proven ability to manage complex programs, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams in a social-sector context.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related professional experience, ideally in the social sector or philanthropy.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced studies helpful.
• Strong ability to engage with senior leaders, boards, and investors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Experience managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and drive strategy implementation across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate and integrate team operations with senior leadership and key departments.
• Oversee quarterly performance reporting, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with investees, field leaders, and external partners.
• Foster a values-based, collaborative team culture and ensure timely execution.
