Job summary

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement to lead and grow our annual fundraising, donor stewardship, and engagement programs.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role will develop and execute multi-channel annual giving campaigns, strengthen donor relationships, increase donor retention and acquisition, and oversee a comprehensive stewardship program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of fundraising experience with demonstrated success in annual giving and donor engagement.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing segmented fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Proficiency with fundraising CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to reproductive health, rights, and justice, and to advancing equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee annual giving strategy and leadership initiatives.
• Create multi-channel fundraising campaigns and solicitation plans.
• Analyze performance metrics to inform strategy and decision‑making.

• Oversee budgets for annual giving and donor engagement.
• Supervise a team of fundraising professionals.
• Partner with major and planned giving staff to align strategies.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
• Participate in organizational initiatives and support goals.
