Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of Statistical Programming to lead a team of programmers across multiple indications. The role focuses on aligning programming activities with clinical development strategy and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish SOPs, and mentor staff while navigating regulatory expectations from FDA/EMEA to advance drug development programs.

Qualifications

• MS in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• BS in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Highly competent in SAS programming and Macro development.
• Pharmaceutical experience with clinical trials and regulatory filing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of programmers and provide strategic input.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align programming activities with development strategy.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for programming.
