Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Ky., Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Career Services to provide statewide leadership for its Career Services across Kentucky’s Opportunity Centers.

Reporting to the Vice President of Mission Strategy & Impact, the role translates mission strategy into high-quality service delivery and measurable participant outcomes. The position leads Center Directors, sets statewide performance standards, and oversees budgets, grants, contracts, and compliance while strengthening

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, workforce development, rehabilitation, business, education, or public administration.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in workforce development or nonprofit operations.
• Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed programs.
• Experience with performance measurement, grants/contracts, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide operational leadership for Career Services across Opportunity Centers.
• Lead, coach, and hold Directors accountable for performance, service delivery, and financial results.
• Establish goals, monitor KPIs, and use data to drive improvements.
• Oversee budgets, grants, contracts, and compliance.
• Strengthen regional partnerships with employers, educators, and community partners.
• Ensure center programs comply with policies and regulatory standards.
