Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking an energetic Career Coach to join our team. This full-time role requires flexibility and the ability to work in an ever-changing environment while helping community members set and reach new career goals.

Responsibilities include participant recruitment, intake assessments, job search support, and coordinating referrals to community resources. A Bachelor's degree and several years in workforce development are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human relations, social work, rehabilitation counseling, or related field preferred.
• Minimum four years of work experience in workforce development or related human services environments when a degree is not held.
• Maintain participant confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment of program participants.
• Conduct needs assessments and intake interviews to identify financial barriers.
• Assist participants with job search and placement activities.
• Help external retail participants develop action plans based on barriers, needs, and goals.
• Make referrals to other agencies as needed on behalf of participants.
