Job summary

The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Director of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Operations at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders to oversee all clinical service activities in the SLP clinic, including scheduling, insurance, and financial analyses.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership on fundraising and marketing, supervise a team of 10 licensed SLPs across two locations, and lead clinical teaching and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or closely related field.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility by hire date.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• 8 years of progressive clinical experience as a licensed SLP.
• At least 3 years direct supervision of licensed SLPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical service activities in the Callier Center SLP program.
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance, and financial analyses for the clinic.
• Manage a team of 10 SLPs across two locations.
• Facilitate student and faculty research with patient recruitment.
• Participate in clinical research and innovation within the Callier Center.
• Involve fundraising and grant writing with the Development team.
• Serve as an ambassador for speech pathology services to the community.
