Job summary

Rocketdyne is seeking a Director, Business Development to drive growth in Space Propulsion and Power Systems. This remote role will coordinate with DoD/DoS, Space Prime contractors, and government labs to identify opportunities and shape win strategies.

You will lead pursuit planning, manage a broad stakeholder network, and guide cross-functional teams across engineering and program management to secure priority opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of defense industry experience required. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of defense industry experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of defense experience.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pursuit and capture plans/strategies to win new business in SPPS sector.
• Manage relationships with DoD/DoS, spaces-related labs and prime contractors.
• Lead internal resources (Bid & Proposal, Independent Research & Development) to shape and capture opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM entries and portfolio status for opportunities and programs.
• Travel up to 50% to support customer engagements and program opportunities.
