Job summary

CI Search Group, partnering with a global technology company, seeks a Director of SOX & Internal Audit in Dallas. Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote. The role owns the global SOX program and expands into broader enterprise risk management and operational audit.

You will lead a collaborative audit team, interact with senior leadership, and gain Audit Committee exposure. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in audit leadership, CIA/CISA, strong SOX and IT risk experience, and a hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant audit leadership experience.
• Public accounting plus experience in a large, complex organization.
• Active CIA or CISA certification.
• Strong SOX and enterprise risk management experience.
• Technology risk knowledge including IT controls and cybersecurity governance.
• Excellent communication and collaborative leadership style.
• Technology or SaaS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX compliance across business and technology operations.
• Improve control design, streamline testing, and drive remediation.
• Lead risk-based operational audits and support enterprise risk initiatives.
• Partner with external auditors and business leaders.

This opportunity combines ownership of a global SOX program with a broader mandate across enterprise risk management and operational audit. The first year will focus heavily on SOX, with the scope expanding into broader risk initiatives thereafter.

You'll join a collaborative global audit team of approximately 10 professionals, partner with senior leadership, and gain Audit Committee exposure over time.
