Job summary

Sabre Corporation, a global leader in travel technology, is seeking a Director of SOX & Internal Audit in the Dallas area. You will lead end-to-end SOX compliance and technology risk monitoring across global operations, driving control rationalization and cost efficiencies.

You will mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with external auditors, and advance audit capabilities with AI, automation, and analytics to enhance coverage and insights for executive leadership and the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience with leadership in technology or SaaS environments.
• Active certification such as CISA or CIA.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, COSO, NIST and COBIT frameworks.
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity governance, IAM, vulnerability management and secure software development.
• Experience using generative AI, automation or analytics to modernize audit workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Sarbanes-Oxley program for business and tech operations.
• Direct risk-based operational audits per IIA standards.
• Partner with external auditors and leaders to remediate control deficiencies.
• Guide and mentor audit staff to build technical risk and cybersecurity capabilities.
• Implement generative AI, automation and data analytics to streamline testing workflows and increase audit coverage.
