Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance Process Owner (Source to Pay) to lead the optimization, governance, and transformation of Workday’s global S2P value stream.

You will drive end-to-end process design and performance, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement automated lifecycle management and AI-driven improvements. The role requires extensive experience in S2P, strong stakeholder leadership, and a proven track record in digital transformation within a global finance

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Source to Pay or Finance Transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, CIPS, CPSM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certification is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, procurement, PO, invoice processing, and working-capital implications.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive transformation program workstreams across Source to Pay, ensuring alignment with success metrics.
• Define and evolve global end-to-end processes for Source to Pay.
• Establish governance with clear ownership and controls across Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal.
• Partner with controllership, internal audit, tax, and compliance for SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Champion a scalable supplier experience from onboarding to payment execution.
• Lead continuous-improvement to improve spend visibility and working-capital outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology to design scalable, system-driven Source to Pay processes.
• Mentor Business Analysts and develop expertise in S2P design.
