Job summary

Workday in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Director, Finance Process Owner (Source to Pay) to lead global process optimization, governance, and transformation across supplier onboarding, sourcing, procurement, invoicing, and payments. This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Finance Process Owner and will architect end-to-end designs, drive automation, and mentor a team of Business Analysts.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Source to Pay, Finance Transformation, or a related discipline.
• Deep functional knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, procurement, purchase orders, and related controls.
• Experience using Workday Financial Management and related procurement platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of transformation program workstreams and align with cycle-time and savings metrics.
• Define and evolve global end-to-end Source to Pay process standards.
• Establish governance across Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and stakeholders.
• Ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness with controllership and internal teams.
• Champion a scalable supplier experience from onboarding to payment.
• Identify friction and reduce manual work across the Source to Pay lifecycle.
• Balance global standards with local business and tax requirements.
• Develop KPIs to measure process health and outcomes.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives for spend visibility and working capital.
• Partner with Product/Tech to design scalable processes powered by Workday.
• Pilot new Workday features and AI capabilities; mentor Business Analysts.
