Where you will work:
This position may be remote in NJ, PA, NY, IL, TX, or CA, with travel to the nearest office as needed.
A Day in the Life of the Director, Solutions Architecture:
- Lead and develop the vision and execution of the Solutions Architecture strategy to drive complex solution activity and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product teams, and Sales to capture requirements and support solutions delivery.
- Develop design standards and best practices across sales verticals.
- Lead Solutions Architects and Engineers in defining business strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Support business development strategies and facilitate requests.
- Develop vendor relationships and connect products with vendor capabilities.
- Align with the Advanced Services team to enhance customer value and support seamless onboarding.
- Establish reporting metrics for sales activity and success dashboards.
- Work cross-functionally to improve product understanding and address gaps.
- Demonstrate industry trend expertise, especially in managed services and AI.
- Lead research on new technologies and develop industry standards.
- Review solutions for system and workflow gaps.
- Set clear expectations and foster teamwork, training, and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively about product roadmaps, releases, and escalations.
- Support network operations with design reviews and vendor training.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Leadership experience with architects or senior engineers in creating complex solutions.
- 8+ years in telecommunications, network design, engineering, or project management.
- 8+ years in Sales Engineering, Network Engineering, or Architecture.
- 5+ years as an SD-WAN SME or engineer.
- 3+ years of Wi-Fi experience.
- Strong industry trend awareness and technical expertise.
- Deep understanding of Cloud, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and Networking technologies.
- Knowledge of voice solutions and UCaaS.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and developing training content.
- Financial modeling skills and cost articulation.
- Proven ability to develop and retain motivated teams.
- Stakeholder influencing and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to lead complex solutions under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience translating technical needs for non-technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Salary Range:
$155,000 - $175,000 annually plus bonus, benefits, and commissions. Actual pay varies based on skills and experience.
