Job summary

GSK is seeking a Solution Architect in the United States to lead architecture and design assurance for major initiatives. You will craft designs that emphasize reliability, resilience, and observability from day one, including AI-enabled patterns where they accelerate delivery.

You will drive end-to-end coherence with platform and enterprise architects, balancing risk, cost and security to deliver business outcomes. The role is hybrid, with on-site and remote work as agreed with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technology architecture or senior engineering with design work on major initiatives.
• Experience across multiple tech domains and influencing architects.
• Experience designing for reliability, security and observability.
• Experience with AI patterns in solution design.

Responsibilities

• Produce solution designs for major initiatives aligned to standards.
• Build reliability, resilience, and observability into designs from the outset.
• Design AI-enabled solutions to accelerate delivery and operations.
• Provide design assurance and architecture reviews for initiatives.
• Balance business outcomes, cost, risk, and technical fit in designs.
• Collaborate across platform and enterprise architecture teams to ensure coherence.
