Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Colorado seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead financial health, scheduling, and planning for renewable energy projects. This role partners with executive leadership to set vision, allocate resources, and drive project performance.

You will develop leaders, manage budgets, forecasts, procurement, and change orders, and implement controls to reduce risk. Strong communication and a track record in construction finance are essential to deliver on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Project Controls/Project Management experience.
• 5+ years of solar self-perform construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Controls Management and leadership of people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project controls for PRE solar projects.
• Develop leaders and foster collaboration with executives.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and change management.
• Produce Monte Carlo analyses for project plans and risk items.
• Monitor KPI performance and forecast project outcomes; communicate deviations.
• Identify risks and mitigate schedule/cost impacts and change orders.
• Ensure accurate cost-to-complete and cost-at-completion reporting.
• Remove roadblocks to keep projects on time and on budget.
