Job summary

Diamond Generating Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Director - Engineering and Technology to lead the development, execution and delivery of utility-scale solar projects in ERCOT and MISO, from pre-FID through commissioning and commercial operation.

You will manage multidisciplinary engineering and construction activities, coordinate with vendors and partners, prepare technical specifications and contracts, ensure compliance with design basis and regulations, and support asset management,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
8–15 years' experience in design, engineering, construction and startup of power facilities.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Manage multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction management activities and services for DGC projects, including field/site oversight.
Provide technical information to Development, Asset Management and Operations to obtain permits and licenses.
Prepare technical specifications, performance documents, and cost estimates for new facilities or major modifications; prepare contracts.
Review technical and environmental performance to ensure compliance with Basis of Design and regulations.
Maintain vendor/contractor relationships for improvements and pricing; support due diligence for acquisitions.
