Job summary

Essex Property Trust seeks a Director, Site Solutions to lead technology strategy for onsite Essex teams. You will oversee smart access, maintenance and capital operations platforms, align roadmaps with corporate goals, and manage a small team across centralized and remote staff.

You will build relationships across departments, drive pilot programs, and collaborate with vendors to deliver scalable, property-level solutions that improve resident and associate experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience at the intersection of technology and operations.
• 5+ years of experience in multi-family at enterprise scale.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale technology implementations and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Build key business relationships and engage across departments to solve issues.
• Lead the implementation of enterprise and 3rd party products to support strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful execution.
• Maintain alignment between critical systems and user communities.
• Develop roadmaps to support corporate strategy and goals.
• Lead teams to document and standardize business needs and processes.
• Prioritize user requirements with 3rd party vendors.
• Write reports, present analyses, and communicate risks and issues.
• Identify gaps and coordinate changes through system life cycle.
