Job summary

Archetype in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead our project teams and oversee signage projects from design through installation. You will ensure compliant, on-time delivery while maintaining client satisfaction and profitability.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, coaching skills, and the ability to implement best practices across teams. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel expectations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in signage or related construction industries.
• 2+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of signage fabrication, installation, permitting, and compliance.
• Experience with AIA payments, progress billing, payroll, and insurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers.
• Oversee full lifecycle of signage projects from quote to cash.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and safety requirements.
• Train staff on budgeting, billing, and project profitability.
• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to meet scope and timelines.
• Drive process improvements and report metrics to leadership.
