Director, Senior Cloud Security Architect

Join to apply for the Director, Senior Cloud Security Architect role at KPMG US.

KPMG is seeking a Director, Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our Global Information Solution Group, part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with key stakeholders to understand the current state of application security and contribute to security programs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a systemic and holistic security approach.
3. Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential security threats and risks.
4. Perform code reviews, static and dynamic analysis to ensure application security.
5. Work closely with development teams to prioritize and address threats.

Qualifications:

• Minimum ten years of experience in security architecture, threat modeling, identity management, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, or network security.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or five years of recent cloud security experience.
• Advanced knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, or application security.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Azure Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their security features.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, industry frameworks (CSA, CIS, NIST, ISO).
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
