Job summary

Meta seeks a Director of Security Risk Program to lead the Four Pillars of risk: risk assessments, capability maturity, risk intelligence, and cloud security risk. You will guide a multidisciplinary team and partner with Central Security, Legal, and product teams to shape risk strategy, drive regulatory compliance, and accelerate AI/product launches with safe, scalable risk practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in security risk management or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading teams or managers.
• Experience presenting to executives to shape strategy and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and certification regimes (SOC 2, HIPAA, FDA, USG).

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and end-to-end delivery of four program pillars across risk, CME, risk intelligence, and cloud risk.
• Partner with Central Security leadership to unify risk management tooling, processes, and methodology.
• Embed risk assessment into product development for AI and cloud initiatives to speed launches.
• Manage Tier 1 regulatory deliverables with fixed external deadlines (SOC 2, HIPAA, FDA, EU acts).
• Represent Meta's risk posture to executives, regulators, and external auditors.
• Scale security risk assessment capabilities for AI with defined methodology and operations.
• Coordinate cross-domain risk alignment with Privacy, Integrity, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
